When & where is the wedding?

The ceremony and reception will be held at Book Tower in Detroit on Sep. 21, 2025. For Directions see the main page.

Who is getting married?

Amber Alston & Wadeh Arraf! They met over milkshakes in 2016, and the rest is history. From NYC adventures to travels abroad, late-night political debates, and sharing their favorite books, it’s been quite the journey—and they can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with you.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is black tie/formal, no need for tuxes or ballgowns! Just come dressed to impress and ready to dance the night away.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, we’re keeping this an adult-only event. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring a plus one?

We’d love to keep the celebration intimate, so we kindly ask that you refer to your invitation for specific guest details. If you received a plus one, their name will be included.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 3:00pm to allow time for seating. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm.

Will there be transportation provided?

While we won’t be offering group transportation, the venue is just a 30-minute drive from the airport. We recommend arranging a rental car, rideshare, or taxi for easy travel to and from the celebration. If you have any questions about directions or timing, feel free to reach out!

Is parking available at the wedding venue ?

Yes! Book Tower offers valet parking for your convenience. When you arrive, simply pull up to the main entrance and the valet team will take care of the rest. Standard valet rates apply.
